Julien Benefit: September 5 and 6, 1997
Julien Fleming is a 3-year old boy who is
suffering from the rare neurological disease GM1. His parents don't
have medical insurance and Julien's medical costs are approximately
$1000 per month. The community has been helpful raising funds to help
the family meet the rising medical costs as well as to help the
family save for the boy's funeral, which looms closer each day. Over
the Edge Improv (wonderful show of improvisational acting) put
together a benefit show to raise money for the Julien Fleming Fund.
The crew of the USS Athena helped by spreading word of the show to
family, friends, and the media. We were there to be ushers and bring
some color to the show.

Some of the Athena crew who worked the show: Back row: Blair Learn
(Emissary from the USS Dauntless),
Scott Hanak, Jazz, Tom Donnelly; Front Row: Karen Donnelly, Lisa
Paradis, Zelda Gray

respect towards the officers)
